Between 1904 and 1906 my grandfather Samuel Eden Green (known as Eden) sent many picture postcards to Evelyn Beynon, his wife-to-be, my grandmother. Much of the text was in a simple cypher. The surviving postcards have been scanned and the text deciphered and transcribed by my cousin's wife, Denise Eden-Green, who has presented the information in a series of Word documents.
